T2S modernizes DPW warehouse management with Oracle WMS implementation
DP World, one of the global leaders in port operations, sought to optimize warehouse management in Brazil, standardizing operations to global guidelines and increasing control and billing accuracy. T2S was chosen to lead the implementation of the Oracle Warehouse Management System (O-WMS).
Context
DP World, one of the global leaders in port operations, sought to optimize warehouse management in Brazil, standardizing operations to global guidelines and increasing control and billing accuracy. T2S was chosen to lead the implementation of the Oracle Warehouse Management System (O-WMS).
The Challenge
Warehouse processes evolved independently, creating opportunities for standardization and digitization. It was necessary to unify flows, provide more agility and real-time visibility to operations, creating a foundation for more strategic decisions.
Objective
Objectives: 1) Standardize warehouse management operations aligned with global units; 2) Eliminate spreadsheets and paper records, digitizing processes; 3) Increase billing efficiency and accuracy, with greater service control.
The Solution
Implementation of Oracle WMS in three phases and bidirectional integrations with DPW systems (N4, EOL, and EIA). Fiscal part completed and tested in QA, awaiting final billing validation for definitive GoLive. Joint work with teams from Brazil and Dubai.
Fase 1 – Armazéns não alfandegados (GoLive no dia D).
Fase 2 – Armazéns alfandegados (GoLive no dia D+5 meses).
Fase 3 – Armazém geral (GoLive no dia D+13 meses – parte operacional e de faturamento).
Parte fiscal concluída e testada em QA, aguardando validação do faturamento para GoLive.
Integrações bidirecionais: Oracle WMS ↔ N4, EOL e EIA.
Projeto conduzido com PMs, especialistas O‑WMS, operação e integração no Brasil e em Dubai.

Results
The implementation of Oracle WMS brought significant advances to DPW:

Eliminação progressiva do uso de planilhas e registros em papel, com transição assistida.
Maior controle e rastreabilidade: operações antes não registradas passam a ser monitoradas e devidamente faturadas.

"With the phased implementation, we were able to adapt the system to the local realities of each unit warehouse, which ensured a smoother and more assertive transition. We standardized operations and eliminated the use of spreadsheets and paper records, which brought more control and efficiency to the daily operation. Today, warehouses have a systemic and centralized view of operations. Team engagement and close support were essential for the success of the new system adoption," stated Bruno Wan, systems analyst who worked on the O-WMS implementation.
